The 15th Annual R&B Fest held February 28th at Hermann's Jazz Club in support of Victoria's NEED Crisis and Information Line was once again a resounding success and netted more than $1200 for NEED after this year's sold out event. NEED Board Member Echo Kulpas was thankful for the funds raised by Victoria's blues community.

This year's line-up of bands, Elmores, Slim and the Deuces, Preston McCool, Soul Shakers and the Deb Rhymer Band kept Hermann's hopping from 4pm to 10:30pm, for  a marathon of great music.

R&B Fest organizers, John Fisher and Sharon Wadsworth (of Elmores) would like to thank all those who attended and enjoyed the good times and music and a special thanks to Hermann's for continuing to host the annual fund raiser for NEED.

If you missed this year's event or are planning to return for next year's 16th Annual R&B Fest, it's already set for Saturday February 27th 2010 and of course will be at Hermann's Jazz Club. Tickets will go on sale next January and you can be sure Big Charlie will be one person to contact.

VBS's Official Photographer, Susan Kerr of Equimotion Pictures, will do high quality custom reprints of any of the photos on this page and will donate the profits to NEED.
