A Very Special Event with the Jack Lavin Blues All Stars is coming Sunday August 9th

The Jack Lavin Blues All Stars with Jack Lavin, Jeff Simmons, James Rogers and David Lanz are going to be on the Sopranos stage on Sunday, August 9th from 4pm to 8pm.

Jack Lavin is the founding member of the Powder Blues Band and has put together an amazing group of top end players to entertain and excite. Jack has also played with James Cotton, Jimmy Page, Eddy Shaw, Amos Garrett, Otis Rush, Johnny Heartsman, Tad Robinson, Mark Dufresne, Fenton Robinson, A.C. Reed, Lowell Fulson, Mitch Kashmar, and more and lots more. http://jacklavin.com/index.htm

Jeff Simmons has performed and recorded with: Lowell Fulson and Pee Wee Crayton, musical director and musician for Guitar Shorty, Etta James and Mary Wells, and several stints with the legendary Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention. Dave Lanz is Jeff's longtime friend and band mate. A multi instrumentalist, Dave records original keyboard compositions for Wyndham-Hill records and is one of their most successful artists. James Rogers is a Vancouver based guitarist, singer and songwriter James Rogers has toured extensively throughout Canada, United States and parts of Europe opening and playing shows with artists such as Kim Wilson & the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Long John Baldry, Kenny Neal, Elvin Bishop, Indigenous, Holmes Brothers, Sue Foley, Long John Hunter, Canned Heat, Powder Blues, Jerry Doucette and Jim Byrnes. http://www.jrband.ca/

Tickets for the Jack Lavin Blues All Stars go on sale Wednesday, July 8th at Sopranos, Lyle's Place, Island Audio and through Big Charlie. Advance ticket prices are $15 for VBS members ($20 at the door) and $20 for non-members ($25 at the door). You don't want to miss this gig!
