The John Fisher Memorial Legacy was established in April of 2017 to honour the memory of John Fisher, one of the founding members of the Victoria Blues Society. John’s dream was to support and mentor people in the blues. Through this fund, VBS has committed annual funding towards providing opportunities for training and/or mentorship in the blues. Any other funding received through donations will be dedicated to support additional individuals in this regard.
